Free Developmental Screenings!

The purpose of a Developmental Screening is to identify children who have difficulty with gross motor skills and may benefit from a physical therapy evaluation and treatment plan.  The screen consists of one 20-30 minute visit where a licensed physical therapist will observe your child's motor skills during play and complete an informal assessment to estimate the age at which your child is performing gross motor skills. We offer this service for ages birth to 18-years-old.

Children who may benefit from a Developmental Screening are those who:

Loveland physical therapy
  • Can't keep up with peers
  • Have poor coordination or seem unusually clumsy
  • Get tired easily
  • Are delayed in reaching gross motor skills
  • Favor either their left or right side before age 3
  • Seem to be weaker than most children their age
  • Have difficulty on playground equipment or in P.E. class
  • Fall more often than other children their age

If this sounds like your child or you are concerned about your child's motor skills for any other reason, please call today to schedule an appointment: (720) 421-7412.
